EU-Ukraine Municipalities Partnership Forum to be Held in Poland. Registration is Open
The partnerships forum will take place in Wojnowice near Wroclaw on 26-27 January and will gather 60 mayors of Ukrainian, Polish, German, Austrian, and other EU-countries municipalities.
Since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the EU government and municipalities have widely supported Ukraine with humanitarian aid, utility equipment, and generators. More and more EU municipalities are looking for Ukrainian partners to start a long-term cooperation. During the forum, participants will have an opportunity to present their municipalities and find strategic partners in Ukraine.
«The aim of the forum is to create a trustworthy environment where Europen and Ukrainian municipalities can get to know each other and start long-lasting partnerships. Working together they can learn from each other and become even more resilient in the light of today’s challenges and reach outstanding results» — states Svitlana Kryzhanivska-Blinova, coordinator of CITIES4CITIES | UNITED4UKRAINE initiative.
Mayors willing to find twin municipalities in Ukraine are welcome to participate. Registration is available via the link.
The forum of municipal partnerships is organized by CITIES4CITIES | UNITED4UKRAINE with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
