EU Integration: Impact and Opportunities for Communities – A New Course Completed

Together with more than 350 students, representatives of local self-government, they explored the alphabet of European integration live. Cities4Cities experts Marta Suprun and Snizhana Palazhchenko introduced the EU institutions and decision-making processes important for local self-government.
The course is available on the Academy Cities4Cities platform.
During the lectures, we talked about EU legislation with David Young, senior expert at SALAR International, and Martha Suprun. They also heard the experience of Serbia on the impact of EU legislation on the local level from Aleksandra Vukmirovic.
The course will give confidence in this topic to all those involved in European-level events and will help them negotiate better with international partners and formulate their development priorities for the coming years.
The course was created with the support of Sweden’s flagship program for Ukraine, Polaris, “Support to Multi-level Governance in Ukraine.”
