Community and War

From the first days of the war, the residents of the Mankivka community stood up to protect their Motherland against russian aggression. Today, more than 700 men defend Ukraine in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard and volunteer formations.

To date, 41 soldiers from the community have died, about 10 are considered missing, and more than 40 are seriously injured.

Those residents of the community who cannot fight at the front today join various volunteer organizations and help the Ukrainian military by working in the home front.

Residents of the community are constantly and actively raising funds for military vehicles, drones and other ammunition. Charity auctions and other events are constantly held in the community with the aim of collecting funds for the needs of the military. Entrepreneurs of the community do not stand aside either – they created their own charity fund, the funds from which go to help the Armed Forces.

A lot of attention in the community is paid to helping internally displaced persons.
